Ossili Club Auxiliary Selects Cast for Play (Contributed) The Junior Auxiliary of the Ossoli ciub, which is made up of people from the various north shore towns, will present "The Whole Town's Talking" at the Highland Park club next Sat- urday evening, March 3. This play of John Emerson and Anita Loos always makes a hit with its audiences, and the cast which will give it next Satur- day should make it extraordinarily successful. From the long list of talented mem- bers, it was hard to select the cast, which is to consist of the following; Eleanor Stevens, Mary Kimball, Mar- ion Norcross, Nan Smith, Hester Ann Thomas, Dorothy Keller, Florence Boyd, Alice E. Winters, Eleanor Roberts, Bert Crawford, Sefton Wakefield, Martin Collins, George Howells, and Barrett Mason. James Witherell of Evanston, well known in the dramatic world, is di- recting the play. An important feature on the pro- gram will be the Banjo club of the University club of Chicago. Mrs. Konrad Schreier has entire charge of the affair and much of her time is being spent on detail work. The Junior auxiliary was organized this year and judging from the rapid progress made thus far, it is hoped that before long, it will be second on- ly to the Junior League of Chicago. With the co-operation of all the members and their friends, Mrs. Henry Clark, president of Ossoli, is confident of the success of this, the first ven- ture, of the Junior auxiliary. i The Dorcas Society of Winnetka (Norwegian) met last Tuesday evening, February 21, at 907 Ash street, with Mrs. Tollef Simonson and Miss A. Punswick as hostesses. Rev. T. A. Goodwin to Discuss Great Religious Leaders At the Vesper service of the Con- gregational church Sunday, February 26, the Rev. Thomas A. Goodwin will talk about Lyman Abbott and his sig- nificant contribution to religion in the restatement of the Christian faith in terms of our own time. Subsequently, Mr. Goodwin will dis- cuss Walter Rauschenbusch and his pioneer work in the application of the Gospel to social questions; D. L. Moody and his remarkable success in winning the individual to loyalty to Jesus by means of personal influence; General William Booth and his world famous work among those whom so- ciety regarded as hopeless, and Watts O. Pye and his statesman-like service in the interior of China. "Probably nothing is as helpful and inspiring when we attempt a difficult task as the example of one who has accomplished that task with distinc- tion," says Mr. Goodwin. "This 'is especially true in the attempt to live the Christian life. Accordingly, I have chosen the lives of five quite different men who have in our modern world lived lives which have indeed been truly Christian." Mrs. Harold Ickes Tells Pupils About Indians Mrs. Harold Ickes, 900 Private road, gave an illustrated lecture on the Navajo and Pueblo Indians in an as- sembly program at the Skokie school last Tuesday.
