Zick & company drygoods store, has resigned her position there, taking effect today, to enter the office of the Exmoor Country club, at Highland Park, as bookkeeper. This is the third season Miss McNeill has held this position at Exmoor. Valona Brewer, 1077 Westmoor road, returned home last week, after a two weeks' visit in Detroit. The fish itself is down in Texas, being mounted for a place of honor in the Owsley home. Fishing off Point Isabel, in the Gulf of Mexico, Mr. Owsley caught the tarpon on his line and fought with it an hour before dragging it into port. It was one of the first caught there this season, measured six feet in length and weigh- ed 110 pounds. E. B. Taylor Hardware Co. She has spent the greater part of this time at Sulphur Springs, Ark., visiting her brother, Artemus Ward, professor in the college at that place. She also visited at Mobile, Ala., and at New Orleans. Fisher, 1051 Cherry street, introduced candidates Monday for the anniversary scholarship given by the Illinois and Wisconsin districts at the Chicago Radcliffe club's spring meeting held at the Woman's City club.
