Winnetka 313 75 Arden Shore Needs the Things Tossed Out at Cleaning (Contributed) How glad we are when we find out where there is a real yearning need of those "Attic Discards" that have long been in our way. The children's last year's clothing that they've out- grown and yet that has lots of wear left in it; our husband's checked suit that we know he shouldn't wear again; the stove in the basement that we couldn't sell for enough money to make it worth while; the old family victrola that is no longer in use since we bought the radio, and yes, even the toys that we have grown beyond and which are now just dust collectors, of the first water. Arden Shore, that worth while, well known camp at Lake Bluff for under- nourished children and their tired mothers, needs all these things so badly and will put them to such good use, that it's quite worth while to give our houses an extra pre-housecleaning, combing, and weeding out, just to form a collection. The almost heaven-sent vacation that this camp gives to tired mothers and their children from the poorer congested districts of Chicago will be made all the better by your donations. -| The clothes will be mended and as- signed to the very ones who need and want. them so badly and the furniture and odds and ends that are doing us no good will be a real treat to our Arden Shore friends who have so little. So wave a fond and relieved fare- well to your garret greyhounds and your basement bugbears and tell them that they are now going to a warmer, better land, where once again they'll do some good in this old world. Arden Shore enthusiasts will gladly call if you will telephone Mrs. A. C. Goodrich, Winnetka 2217, and leave your name and address.
