Rudolph Ingerle Art Exhibit Wins Widespread Praise The Rudolph Ingerle one-man ex- hibit, which closed last week at the Winnetka Community House, attracted a great deal of attention among mem- bers of the North Shore Art league and other lovers of art. One of the outstanding features of the exhibit was the large number of pictures shown. More than fifty of Mr. Ingerle's paintings and sketches were hung in Matz hall, an unusual number for one man. The paintings were notable for their gorgeous color-. ings, exquisite detail, and beautiful workmanship. Among the most inter- esting were Kentucky Haze, Moon- light, Approaching Storm, Moonlight in Carolina, Pisgah, October Five O'clock, Twilight on Nantachalla, Sentinels, and The Beach. Of the smaller pictures, "Dawn" and "Hazy Sun" stand out for their lovely, soft coloring, giving almost the effect of water color. "Dream City" is striking in. composition and detail.
