Braden, who for several weeks past has been discussing the world's great non-Christian reli- gions before the Men's class of Win- netka Congregational church, will take Mohammedanism as his subject for Sunday, April 29. This talk will con- clude the series originally planned, but the committee in charge states that it hopes to retain Professor Braden fur- ther for an outline of the historical de- velopment of Christianity. Definite announcement in this regard will be made at next Sunday's meeting. The class meets at 9:45 o'clock in the American Legion room of Com- munity House. M. in place of Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Varney and family have rented their home at 535 Cherry street for a number of months and will sail June 4, for a summer in Europe, spending the greater part of their time in Spain. They are leaving Winnetka Tuesday and will stay at the Georgian until school closes. Ruth Callerman Marries at Drake Hotel April 25 On Wednesday, April 25, Miss Ruth Callerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Charles Callerman, 133 Bert- ling lane, was married to Paul Kruse of Chicago. The wedding took place at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the Drake hotel and was followed by a reception. Miss Callerman was beautifully gowned in white satin and tulle and carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and sweet peas. Her maid of honor, Miss Sylvia Damon, who attends Northwestern, wore shaded pink tulle and carried a sheaf of pink roses, Rev. Jacob Pister of Chicago read the service, Mr. Kruse is the 'cellist in Al Kvale's orchestra at the Norshore theatre and Mr. Kvale was the best man. Ben- jamin Sanchick, the pianist in the orchestra played the wedding march and Mr. Milton Park and Mr. Robert E. Lanestrem were the ushers. TALK CHURCH MEMBERSHIP Rev. James A. Richards will be in his study at the Winnetka Congrega- tional church this Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4 o'clock to confer with those who are interested in discussing church membership. Mrs. Sidney Bartlett, 711 Sheridan road, left Friday, April 20, for a vaca- tion of ten days at Excelsior Springs.
