This is the largest plant of its type in the world and is ex- pected to be put in operation during the latter part of August. The building shown here, one of exceptionally attractive architecture, houses seven turbo type air compressors, capable of compressing 250,000 cubic feet of free air per minute to a pressure of seven and three-fourth pounds per square inch. The air is used to aerate the sewage.
