Kinne, 1324 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette, has chosen 8:30 o'clock, September 15, at the Wil- mette Methodist church as the time and place of her wedding to Edwin A. Robson. Mr. Robson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence T. Robson of 6551 Laflin street, Chicago. The Rev. Horace G. Smith will perform the ceremony. Miss Kinne has chosen her sister, Miss Ruth Verle Kinne to be her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids will be Miss Dorothy Fuller and Miss Beatrice Pence of Wilmette, Mrs. Donald G. Healey and Mrs. Kenneth Gordon of Chicago, and Miss Lydia Sprenger of Kenilworth. The best man will be Kenneth S. Gordon, and the ushers chosen will be Donald G. Healey, William Gil- lespie, Daniel T. Nagle, and Bernard S. Black. A reception will be held at Westmoreland Country club after the ceremony. Many parties have been given for Miss Kinne beginning with a party held early this summer by Mrs. Har- vey Cole, formerly a resident of Wil- mette who has moved to Oklahoma. She gave the party before leaving for her new home. On August 11 a per- sonal shower was given by Miss Genevieve Cook in her home at 211 Broadway, Wilmette. Mrs. Hubert Sargent of Chicago entertained Tues- day night with a bridge, and on last Saturday Mrs. Healy and Mrs. Gordon entertained at the Dental Arts club of Chicago with a luncheon and bridge. Miss Frances Kendall will entertain next Wednesday afternoon in her home in Chicago. Miss Beatrice and Miss Marjorie Pence will entertain at their home, 826 Forest avenue, Wil- mette, with a luncheon on September 1. Mrs. Robson will entertain with a party on September 6, and Miss Fuller will entertain September 10. Garden Enthusiasts Take Part in Other Exhibits North Shore garden clubs are taking part in some of the flower shows being held in near-by towns at this time. One show is scheduled for August 29, in Deerfield, Ill, by the Garden club of Deerfield; and another show is to be on August 28, at Flossmoor, Ill. The Garden club at Gurnee, near Lake Bluff, had its flower show on Wednes- day, August 22.
