At 11:45 Saturday morning the de- partment received a frantic call for help from the residence of Laurence F. Greenebaum, 1074 Laurel avenue, where the baby accidentally had been locked in the bath room, where the water, preparatory to the bath, was pouring into the tub. The speed at which that water me- ter was going 'round was exceeded only by the speedometer on the fire truck, responding to the call for help. Only an instant was required to hoist a ladder to the bath room win- dow, through which the firemen en- tered and shut off the water before any damage resulted. At 11:45 p. m., exactly twelve hours later, the firemen received another call for the ladder brigade, wanted at the residence of Dr. Francis E.
