10 WINNETKA TALK September 22, 1928 Beginning a Series on "WHAT THE WELL DRESSED MAN WILL WEAR THis FALL" First, I would like to take up hats for the fall. The grey soft hat will be most popular, then the pecan shade of tan, and then deep brown. Brims are getting narrower in both welt and raw edge, with high tapering Homburg crowns. Some brims are as narrow as two inches, and others from 21% to 2%. The curled bound brim Homburg hat is also smaller of brim, is tapered well at the sides and will be worn more as a formal day dress hat than for other purposes. A. L. FELL Wear this hat for Correct Homburg Style Every line is right--has balance, poise--an ease and nonchalance that is part of a gentleman's make-up.
