Wieboldt have bought the residence at 243 War- wick road, Kenilworth, from Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zipf. Mr. Weiboldt is president of the Wieboldt stores. September 21, at his home, 2651 Broad- way avenue, Evanston. Funeral ser- vices were held at the Convenant Methodist Episcopal church in Evans- ton last Monday, and interment was made at Memorial Park cemetery. Mr. Barnes left a widow, three sons and a daughter. The widow, the daughter, Mrs. A. B. Larsen, and two sons, Charles A. Barnes, Jr. and Clarence W. Barnes, live in Evanston, while one son, J. H. Barnes, lives in Winnetka. Horace Mann Students Give Musical History The sixth grade pupils of Miss Julia Krenwinkel at the Horace Mann school presented a history of several musical instruments which date back to antiquity at the regular assembly last Friday. Some of the students brought the instruments from their homes. The children of Miss Kren- winkel's room are making a study of musical instruments of the medi- aval period. Webster Ball of Indian Hill left Thursday for Princeton where he ex- pects to enter his freshman year. Miss Paisley Ball is visiting in Cleveland. --_---- Mrs. John White, 270 Oxford road, Kenilworth, entertained a few friends at luncheon and bridge on Tuesday.
