Throughout all this, "Fid" Runn- feldt carried more than his share of the burden in at- tempting to put the RE---- scrappy nine back on its feet. The "Fid" Runnfeldt stocky little left- fielder shifted from seventh place in the batting order to the clean-up po- sition. His heavy clouting aided ma- terially in putting the locals back in the fracas many times when the boys appeared to be out of the picture. "Fid" not only pounded the ball with a vengeance, but also performed in stellar fashion on the defensive. Often he dashed deep into left field territory and brought down liners that were ticketed as extra base wallops. | Women Voters News Mrs. William G.
