Huerter Post, No. 69, American Legion, is sponsoring a meeting of all the posts of the Seventh district, Tuesday evening, November 13, at Hoffman's hall, (formerly Gross Point Village hall), at 8 o'clock. Officers for the ensuing year will be installed at this time. There will be various forms of en- tertainment, including a first-aid dem- onstration by H. W. Gentiles and his team from the Rapid Transit Co.; boxing bouts by Boy Scouts {from Troop No. 9; J. Schneider and his or- chestra will be there, and last, but not least, will be the eats. Sesterhenn, No. 166; Daniel C. Gibbons, No. 269; Northtown, No. 431; Peter J. Huerter, No. 669. AT INTERFRATERNITY DINNER Col. Earl Thornton of Glencoe and William Strong, Sherman Strong, and M. Milton Coulter of Chatfield road are on the directorate of the Inter- fraternity club which gave a house- warming dinner Thursday evening of last week in its attractive new quar- ters on the eighteenth floor of the Hotel LaSalle. The club was founded March 11, 1927, to maintain friendly relationships between fraternities and promote the best interests of Greek letter organiza- tions. The bride was Miss Florence Anthony of Glen- coe and Mr. Anderson is the son of Mrs. G. Richard Anderson of Win- netka. Mr. and Mrs. Morris K. S. to Close This Week As the intra-mural football season drew to a close at New Trier High school this week the "Chicago" team was leading the intra-mural league in the heavyweight division while the "Army" was leading in the lightweight division. "Army" defeated "Yale" 25 to 0 and the "Navy" romped over "Harvard" by the same score in games played on Monday. The "Purdue"- "Chicago" game, which was to have been played Tuesday was postponed until Thursday.
