Benson brought up the matter, but other members of the council felt that the 'expressed fear is not well frounded. President H. F. Tenney asked Trus- tee Benson if she had any suggestions as to what the Village could or should do. The subway, it was pointed out, was provided only after a most thorough study of the problem. It is a well- lighted passageway in which there are no obstructions offering a hiding place for one who might seek to secrete himself and spring out upon unsus- pecting victims, according to village officials. It was felt by others that there are far more dangerous conditions of this nature throguhout the village, in the form of dense shrubbery skirting side- walks. subway Waltonians to Inspect Beautiful Color Pictures The wonderful new autochrome col- or negatives which Dr. C.
