December 8, 1928 WINNETKA TALK Madison-Wabash Station Now North Shore Line Stop Station facilities of the Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee railroad in the Chicago Loop have been in- creased with the establishment of the Madison-Wabash station of the Rapid Transit lines as a regular stop for all northbound North Shore line trains. Tickets to all points on the system be- tween Chicago and Milwaukee may now be purchased at this station, ac- | cording to John R. Blackhall, general | manager, in announcing this added convenience for the traveling public. "The addition of Madison-Wabash station to our Loop facilities gives North Shore line patrons three points in the downtown Chicago business dis- trict where they may board north- bound trains," added Mr. Blackhall "The others are the main out-bound Loop station at 223 S. Wabash avenue and the Randolph-Wabash elevated station. The main in-bound Loop sta- tion is the Wells street terminal of the Chicago Aurora and Elgin railroad, which is reached directly by overhead bridge from the Quincy-Wells elevated station. Persons arriving in the Chi- cago Loop from north shore towns may also leave North Shore line trains at any other Rapid Transit station on Wells or Van Buren street."
