Sgt. Harold Bennett Was Twice Wounded

Several weeks ago The Warder told the story of Sergt. Harold S. Bennett, a Lindsay boy who had been wounded twice in engagements with the enemy.

Friends of Sergt. Bennett will regret to learn that no definite word has been received as to his hospital progress lately. In his second casualty Sergt. Bennett received shell fragment wounds in the muscle of his left leg.

Several letters have been received from Sergt. Bennett but his definite progress has not been mentioned due to the fact that the wound has healed up, but the fragment of shrapnel has not been removed.

Sergt. Bennett's mother resides in Oshawa, while his wife, formerly Thelma Thurston, lives at 83 Glenelg St. West. They have one daughter Elaine.
