He trained at Three Rivers (Que.), Gordon Head (B.C.), Vernon (B.C.), Calgary (Ab), Shilo (Man), and Kingston (Ont.). Sergeant. He went overseas 31 January 1945 – Army Occupation in July 1945 – transferred to Field Security Service and reverted to Private in order to go overseas. - Date of Publication
