Sgt. Harry A. Clarke, 26, son of Mr. George Clarke, R.R.2, Lindsay, is reported as being seriously wounded in France. Sgt. Clarke attended school in Ops Township and Lindsay, enlisting with the 45th Field Battery here and received his training at Petawawa before going overseas three years ago. His wife, the former Grace Bishop, and daughter, Evelene, reside in Lindsay.
