Sergt. Harry Clarke among the Wounded
Accompanying is a picture of Sergt. Harry Clarke, who was reported wounded some time ago. Sergt. Clarke, aged 26, is a son of Mr. George Clarke of R.R.2 Lindsay.
Sergt. Clarke enlisted four days after war was declared with the 45th Regiment in Lindsay. . He received his training in Lindsay and at Petawawa, going overseas some three years ago. In England he was attached to the 12th London Battery, with which unit he went to France.
Sergt. Clarke was born and raised on the farm and attended S.S. No. 11 in Ops Township, a few miles east of Lindsay. He is also a graduate of the Baker Business College.
Sergt. Clarke’s wife (Grace Bishop) and daughter Evelene reside in Lindsay.- Media Type
