Mrs. Arnold Crossley, 88 Durham St. W., received a cable from her husband L.-Bdr. Crossley on Monday afternoon telling of his safe arrival in Great Britain.

- Arnold Crossley whose home is at 88 Durham Street West, Lindsay, enlisted in the Canadian Army on 08 April 1942.
He entered the 6th Anti-Tank Reg. R.C.A. and trained at Petawawa, Ont. and Debert, N.S.
L/Bdr. Crossley was moved in Canada from Lindsay to Petawawa, to Debert (N.S.) and to Halifax (N.S.).
He was sent overseas on 24 August 1943. He saw action with the enemy in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany.
L/Bdr. Crossley arrived home on 20 November 1943 and received his discharge from the army on 8 Janary 1946.
Previous to enlistment L/Bdr. Crossley was employed at the Lindsay Arsenal. He is welcomed back to the community. - Date of Publication
