Pte. Dack listed killed overseas

Information has been received that John Alex Dack of Lindsay, has been killed in action while serving in Germany. The young soldier was born in Brechin and employed by the Horn Woollen Mills of Lindsay before enlisting. He trained at Lindsay and Petawawa going to England in January 1945. He is a son of the late John Dack and Mrs. Roy Fox, now of Whitby.
