Lt. Elliott of Lindsay is Promoted Mrs. D.C. Elliot, Cambridge St. N., had just received the splendid news that her son, Lieut. D.W. (Bill) Elliot, has been promoted to the rank of Captain.
Capt. Elliot is a well known Lindsay boy having attended L.C.I. and taken an active part in local sports. He graduated from Royal Military College in the Class of 1942 and went overseas with the 56th Anti-Tank Battery. He promotion came while still serving with his unit in France.
