Lindsay Vet Honoured at Eisenhower Fete

Son of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Elliott, Cambridge St. N., D.W. Elliott, was honoured at the reception for General Dwight Eisenhower at Toronto on Saturday when he was one of a group of 50 veteran students who were accorded places of honour at four tables at the luncheon tendered the distinguished visitor at Hart House, prior to the convocation when the honourary degree of Doctor of Laws was conferred on General Eisenhower.


D.W. Elliott, a graduate of the Royal Military College, has a distinguished career in the Second World War and is now continuing his studies at the University of Toronto.
