Sunderland Airman killed in action in England

Flt. Sgt. Ross Fallowdown buried at New Ollerton Cemetery, Nottinghamshire.

Ottawa, December 3, 1943 —


Flt. Sgt. Kenneth Ross Fallowdown, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fallowdown of Sunderland, was killed in action in England, Nov. 22 according to word received by his parents. He was buried at New Ollerton Cemetery, Nottinghamshire. Sgt. Fallowdown was born in 1922 and after attending public and high school there worked for Silverwood's Dairy in Toronto before joining the R.C.A.F. in October, 1941.


He trained as a wireless air gunner, receiving his wireless course in Calgary and his gunner's course at Mossbank.
