P.O. James Fitzsimmons, a son of Mrs. W. Joseph Fitzsimmons, who arrived home a few days ago, piloted a large bomber across the Atlantic, one of the giant Lancasters. The trip from Yorkshire, England, to Halifax was made under favourable weather conditions. He has been overseas for a considerable time and saw action in different parts of occupied Europe and in Germany.
