Friends will be pleased to learn that Mr. Laird Gamble, popular Lindsay boy now stationed at Prince Rupert, has been promoted to Second Lieutenant.

Lieut Gamble enlisted in the Canadian Army on 1 October 1941 with the Midlands. After extensive training in Canada he proceeded over-seas in May 1943.
Lieut. Gamble is now (Jan 1945) serving as Administration Officer at Bramshott Military Hospital in England.
