Now missing in actionLindsay, Sept. 26 (Special)—Following information that her husband, Pte. Laverne Gamble, as wounded, Mrs. M. Gamble of 12 Queen Street, Lindsay, has received further confirmation that he is now missing after action. Pte. Gamble was employed with the Boxall and Mathie hardware store in Lindsay before enlisting in Kingston. He trained at Three Rivers, Peterborough, and Camp Borden before going overseas with the 48th Highlanders.
