In what is her first letter home since arriving in England from Canada, Pte. Vivian Geach, of the C.W.A.C. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Describing the English countryside as she saw it while travelling to her depot after landing at a British Port. Pte. each refers it as being lovely with more hills than back home. A visit to London has proved to be one of her most interesting experiences. She marvels at its magnitude and reports visiting many parts of interest. Commenting on her work she states everything is going fine. Unlike most ocean travelers she did not fall a victim to seasickness and this she wrote, added much to the enjoyment of the voyage. Pte. Geach was employed with the Canadian National Railways Toronto office before enlisting with the Canadian Women's Army Corps.
