Pte. Clifford Green of the Seaforth Highlanders Calgary is spending his furlough with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Green, Division St. Town.

Clifford Adolphus Green, 14 Division Street, Lindsay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Green, enlisted for service with Canadian Army in December 1941. He joined the Canadian Infantry Corps and trained at Toronto, Ottawa (Ont.), Victoria (B.C.) and Calgary (Alta).
Pte Green was sent overseas in July 1943. He saw action with the army in France after further training in England. Pte. Green was wounded in this encounter in August 1944.
Pte. Green arrived home in January 1946 and received his discharge from active service in February 1946. C.A. Green was a C.N.R. checker prior to his service and he is welcomed back to Lindsay.
