The The Fighting Greens of Lindsay

Joseph Green, who holds the record of being the oldest Great War Veteran in Lindsay from a years service standpoint, is very proud of his sons and daughter, pictured above him, and well he might be. All of the boys and daughter Lois, too, are on active service, doing their bit for King and Country this time. Corporal Albert, Bombardier Richard, and Gunner Kitchener Green are overseas. Sgt. William Green is with the RCAF in Calgary and Pte. Clifford Green is with the RCOC in Ottawa. Miss Lois recently joined the Canadian Women’s Army Corps and is stationed in Toronto.
