Tpr. John Hardy of Camp Borden on furlough at his home in town was a guest at the Lodge-Kitchingman wedding in Toronto this week.

Tpr. Hardy, John H.
Enlisted in the Canadian Armoured Corps in Kingston in May 1943, to train for a wireless operator.
Took Basic Training at Peterborough and proceeded to Camp Borden in August 1943.
He went overseas in February 1944 and was attached to the 28th Canadian Armoured (British Columbia) Regiment in June 1944.
Died in action on 14 September 1944. - Date of Publication
