Ken J. Hart of Omemee, Ontario, R.R.4 enlisted in the Canadian Army on 25 February 1944. He entered the RCAC with the rank of Trooper. He received his training at Kingston (Ontario), Toronto (Ontario), Newmarket (Ontario) and Camp Borden (Ontario).
Tpr Hart transferred from the RCAC Tank Corps to the RCAC Band where he was a Bandsman.
Bandsman Hart was not moved out of Canada in his service and was given his honourable discharge from the service on 7 August 1945.
Tpr. Hart whose prewar occupation was Shipper is welcomed back to this district.
Ken J. Hart of Omemee was among the many veterans of this district who registered at the Armouries during the Reunion held in Lindsay on Saturday 19 January 1946.
