Cpl. Hussey thanks Band Auxiliary for parcel
Mrs. W.J. Heffernan, president of the Band Auxiliary has received a card from Cpl. Lloyd Hussey, who is a prisoner of war in Germany, thanking the Auxiliary for a parcel sent to him. His many friends will be pleased to know that he is quite well. It was dated March 1, 1943.

- B 25180 Lloyd Wm. Hussey enlisted in Toronto 22 February 1940 with 2nd Field Co. Royal Can. Engineers. Married in April of 1940 to Olive Gould of Kirkland Lake. He left Toronto for overseas on 10 May 1940 and arrived in England 22 May 1940. He was taken German prisoner following Battle of Dieppe on 19 August 1942. Declared prisoner of war on 26 September 1942 at No. 26441 Stalag 8B (later changed to Stalag 344).
