Description

Charles Wm. Jackett of 80 King St. Lindsay, was a surveyor in the employ of the Dept. of Highways before he enlisted 2 April 1943, in the 1st Canadian Survey Regt., RCA. He received training in Canada at Petawawa, proceeded Overseas in July 1944, and received further training at Larkhill, Wilts. Gnr. Jackett saw enemy action in Holland and Germany, was invalided home and received his discharge 18 January 1946.
