Another Lindsay soldier is home Toronto Telegram a few nights ago contained a picture of Emerson Jones, of Lindsay, a young soldier, who has been invalided home and is being welcomed back by many friends, following three years service with the Army in Europe.
He was among those recently invalided home as a result of wounds which they had received on active duty. In his particular case, he was the victim of an enemy bullet which struck him in the left side and caused severe injuries from which he is recovering under treatment in the Dominion.
Arriving in Lindsay a few days ago, he is spending his time for the present renewing old acquaintances in and around the town.
