Promotion for ex-ALD. Jordan
Tuesday’s Toronto Globe and Mail contained a picture of Flight Lieut. L.W. Jordan, of Lindsay, with the following item of interesting news:
Flight-Lieutenant Jordan, who has been an interviewing officer for air crew recruits at No. 11 Recruiting Centre, RCAF, 200 Bay Street, has succeeded Flight-Lieutenant Parliament as adjutant of the centre. The latter, who has been at the centre for the last year, has been transferred to the department of the Director of Manning at Air Force Headquarters, Ottawa. He was an original of the 3rd Battalion (Toronto Regiment) in the last war and transferred to the RAF. He has a son who is stationed in an operational station in the Eastern Air Command. Flight-Lieutenant Jordan was a barrister in Lindsay when he joined the RCAF, and was previously stations at Air Forces Headquarters, Ottawa.
