In these letters Gnr. Kingsborough reported playing baseball on a "real good team", with Tommy Cook, also of Lindsay, as the star pitcher. He also tells of seeing Mervyn Wood, of Lindsay; Les Fanning of Lindsay and Ivan Thurston of Dunsford, Ont. Gnr. Kingsborough also writes of his hopes of seeing his brother Thomas Kingsborough, who is with the Dental Corps in Italy. Gnr Kingsborough is a Radio Operator with the 92nd Battery, 3rd Field Regiment, RCA. Incidentally Gnr. Kingsborough's uncle is Pte. Ivan Ruck, of the Toronto Irish, who was recently awarded the Military Medal for "extraordinary meritorious action" the first member of the Toronto Irish to receive a medal. LATER; - Since writing the above a third telegram has been received by Mr. Kingsborough to the effect that his son is now making satisfactory progress and has been removed from the seriously ill list.
