Popular Fenelon boy is killed with RCAF Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kriger, popular Fenelon Falls residents, received word yesterday of the death of their only son, Sgt. Observer Louis Kriger, R.C.A.F., while on active service in England.
The brief telegram from Britain stated that death occurred on September 2 on active service and that the funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, interment being made at Houghton Cemetery, Houghton, England.
Sgt. Observer Louis Kriger enlisted in August 1940 and went to England last December. He was widely known in Fenelon Falls and district where he had a host of friends.
His father, Harry Kriger, is proprietor of the Kriger Trading Store in Fenelon.
