Pte. R. La Rue dies in Italy
Haliburton, June 7, (PNS) – Word has reached Haliburton that Pte. Russell La Rue a young man whose home is West Guilford lost his life in Italy.
The young man who paid the supreme sacrifice was born and raised in West Guilford and was well known in Haliburton. Deepest sympathy is extended to his bereaved relatives here. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward La Rue have moved to Welland and messages of sympathy are sent to them in these hours of sorrow.
