P|O L.H. LeCraw of Norland is wounded on Duty
Norland, May 28 – Pilot Officer Lorne Hughes Le Craw, of Shadow Lake, Norland has been wounded on active service during air operations, according to word received from Ottawa by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. LeCraw. The message added that his wounds were not serious.
LeCraw is one of a dozen young Norland men now in the armed forces out of the community’s total population of less than 100 persons.
