Corvette Lindsay was in Invasion
The Corvette Committee has received a letter from Lieut. G.A.V. Thomson, RCNVR, Commanding Officer of H.M.C.S. Lindsay, in which he states that they are continuing to receive mail and parcels from the citizens of Lindsay. He expresses his appreciation of the continued interest of their “namesake” town. HMCS Lindsay has been in action for some time past and was one of the ships taking part in the invasion.
