Thomas Edward Lockwood of Lindsay enlisted for service with the Canadian Army on 18 August 1941. He held the rank of Corporal in the C.Q.M.
Cpl. Lockwood trained at Ottawa, Ont., Barriefield Camp, and Point Petrie. He took courses in woodworking, weapons, and administration.
Cpl. Lockwood received his discharge in October 1944.
Previous to his war service Thos Lockwood was employed at the local branch of the Bank of Commerce. He has resumed this work and is welcomed back in Lindsay.
