Lindsay Soldier reported wounded
Mr. and Mrs. John Lyte, of Lindsay, have received word that their son, Pte. Reginald Lyte, was wounded in Holland on Oct. 5th.
Pte. Lyte enlisted in Kingston and received his training at Petawawa and Hamilton, going overseas on July 23, 1944, with an artillery unit.
Details are meager, but it is understood that his injuries consist of an injury to the right shoulder and chin. He is at the present time in the 11th Canadian Hospital in England and is reported to be progressing nicely.
Pte. Lyte is married and has three children, the family home being on Elgin St.
