Soldier is wounded in right arm

Mr. and Mrs. David Moir, town, have been advised by the Department of Records (Army), that their son, Pte. Ederick Moir, has been severely wounded in action.

First intimation of this fact was received on March 6, and has since been followed by details of the injuries he sustained, which reveal that he is suffering from a bullet wound to the radial nerve of his right arm.

A twin brother of Pte. Moir’s was reported killed in action at Hong Kong, following long months of anxiety after the colony fell.
