Lindsay girl welcomes home her husband from Overseas
Capt. Donald L. Mumford was given a warm, cheery, lovable welcome home by his young wife as he stepped off the train at Toronto. Mrs. Mumford (formerly Miss Martha Reesor of Lindsay) was present and their young daughter Susan Emily was not dar away. Capt. Mumford, who is a school teacher from Toronto, is a son of Rev. Mr. Mumford, of Hagersville, Ont. He gained prominence as an athlete in Toronto University and was in charge of the all-star rugby team from Canada which defeated an all-star team from the USA in a game overseas recently.
