Milton Arthur Perryman of Fenelon Falls enlisted in the Canadian Army on 28 November 1943. He entered the Royal Canadian Artillery and held the rank of Gunner.
Gnr. Perryman trained at London (Ont) and Camp Shilo (Man). Gnr. Perryman was sent overseas on 1 August 1944. After further trainin he was in active combat in Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Gnr. Perryman transferred while in the service from the RCA to the Infantry Division. Gnr. Perryman suffered an accident while in action. He was wounded in the left hand by shrapnel on 9 March 1945. Gnr. Perryman was also wounded in the right cheek on 19 July 1945 by accident in Germany. Gnr Perryman was serving with the Occupational Forces as of March 1946.
Milton Arthur Perryman was employed as a truck-driver prior to his enlistment.
