Sgt. Pollard, W.H.
W.H. Pollard enlisted at Ottawa on 21 May 1942 in the old Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment. He trained in Canada at Connaught Rangers, Ottawa and at Sussex (NB). He was posted overseas on 24 September 1942 and was posted to the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders on arrival in England. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant 26 May 1944. - Date of Publication
