- George Quibell, Lindsay, enlisted with the Canadian Army on 19 June 1941, reporting to No. 32 C.A. (B) T.C. at Peterborough. He transferred to RCAF as an aero-engine mechanic on 4 August 1941 at Toronto. Reported to Brandon Manning Pool 6 August 1941. He was posted to No 5 A.O.S. Winnipeg, August 29. Posted to No. 11 SFTS at Yorkton Sask. on 19 October 1943.
