- Roy Robertson Spencer, Lindsay, formerly of Kinmount, Ontario.
Roy (Tiny) Spencer enlistedin April 1940 in the Canadian Army. His height (6’6”) may have been the factor that put him directly in the Provost Corps and he trained as Provost Police. He trained at Peterborough and at Camp Borden and went overseas in November 1940. He has served with the army in Italy, Belgium, France and was in Holland at the cessation of hostilities in May of 1945. - Date of Publication
