- Thomas Steele, of RR2, Little Britain, enlisted 10 March 1941 in the Army as Gunner. He trained at Kingston and his various moves in Canada included Kingston, Ottawa, Camp Borden, Sherbrooke (PQ), and Debert (NS). He arrived home on 11 October 1945 and was discharged on the same date. Mr. Steele was a labourer before enlisting.
