Description
- Full Text
One of the very oldest pioneers of Ops township passed away on Sunday in the person of John Twohey, who died at his home on lot 27, con. 4, where he first settled almost 65 years ago, being then about 22 years of age. The old gentleman had enjoyed very good health until a few weeks ago, when he caught a severe cold, causing a breakup of the system. In a subsequent issue we hope to be able to present an interesting sketch of the life of deceased, who was widely known and very highly respected by people of all denominations in Ops and adjoining townships.
